What a fantastic retreat! The resort features excellent amenities and a lovely camp kitchen, making it a standout choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The room I stayed in offered a stunning balcony view over the lake and was very clean and modern, which made my stay enjoyable. However, I did notice some hiccups during the check-in process and wished I had a better campsite since I booked in advance.

I stayed in a new room with a balcony view of the lake, which was absolutely stunning! The room was spotless and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable retreat.
Service

Although the check-in process felt a bit disorganized, the remaining staff worked hard to provide excellent service, especially at the cafe.

The resort is beautifully situated on a cliff above Lake Argyle, providing breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere.

The dining experience was delightful! I enjoyed a delicious Eggs Benedict for breakfast, and live music in the beer garden added a nice touch.

The amenities, including the infinity pool and the camp kitchen, were top-notch. The pool was a bit too cold for my liking, but it was otherwise well-maintained.

My stay at Lake Argyle Discovery Resort Caravan Park had its highs and lows. The location is stunning, nestled near Lake Argyle. I enjoyed the new amenities and the infinity pool, which is quite a unique feature. However, the management needs to step up in terms of facility maintenance and guest oversight. The dusty conditions and steep sites were not ideal for a comfortable stay.

Rooms

The amenities were well-maintained, especially the new en-suite bathrooms that were cleaned frequently. However, the caravan sites varied in quality and were a bit steep, making leveling them a chore.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, I felt more oversight was needed during our stay, especially around the pool and common areas.
Location
8.0
The park's location right by Lake Argyle is breathtaking, but the sloping sites made it tricky for larger groups and setups.
Dining
6.0
The bistro offered nice food but was a bit overpriced, and the limited hours were inconvenient given the remoteness of the location.
Facilities

The infinity pool was a highlight, though it was often cold and crowded. The amenities blocks were cleaned regularly, which was a positive note.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Lake Argyle Resort. While there are some beautiful views of the lake, the overall condition of the rooms and dining facilities left much to be desired. The dining hours were restrictive, and the lack of basic amenities made our stay quite frustrating. On a more positive note, there was a nice infinity pool, even though we found it too cold to enjoy fully. I cannot recommend this place for an extended stay.

Rooms

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, which really affected our ability to rest well during our stay.
Service

The staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, making us feel like an inconvenience during our stay.
Location

The resort is situated on a large area, and our site had a view of the lake, which could have been beautiful if not blocked by trees.
Dining

The dining options were limited, and the hours were restrictive, making it feel very much like a school camp setting.
Facilities

The infinity pool looked nice but was freezing cold and the amenities seemed inadequate for the number of guests.

The resort is set in a breathtaking location with stunning views, which are definitely a highlight. However, I found the Kimberley family cabin to be overpriced for what it offered—more like a motel room than a self-catering cabin. I felt that the resort is catering to those who prefer eating out at the restaurant, as the kitchen setup was quite basic. If you're okay with dining out, this place is great, but if you're looking for full self-catering, it might not suit your needs.

The Kimberley family cabin felt more like a motel room; it was clean but did not offer adequate self-catering facilities.

The amenities looked good, including a lovely camp kitchen and a pool, but the setup for self-catering was quite limited.

The place has beautiful views and well-maintained grounds overlooking the lake, making it a lovely spot in the Kimberley. However, the dining options were limited and the service could have been better. The pool area, while having great potential with a nice outlook, is small and seemed neglected, which was a real letdown. Overall, it’s a decent choice for a short stay if you're looking to immerse yourself in nature.

Rooms

The room we stayed in was clean and well-maintained, featuring a comfortable bed and refreshing air conditioning. However, the value for money could be debated given the overall experience.
Service
7.0
The reception staff were helpful despite being busy, but overall, service felt a bit lacking and rushed.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic with stunning views over Lake Argyle, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the resort.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited, with meals on the pricier side. The breakfast was decent, but the dinner options could have been better managed, especially with seating and food availability.
Facilities
5.0
While the grounds are lovely, the pool area was disappointing as it was small and unclean, which really detracted from the experience.
