What a fantastic retreat! The resort features excellent amenities and a lovely camp kitchen, making it a standout choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The room I stayed in offered a stunning balcony view over the lake and was very clean and modern, which made my stay enjoyable. However, I did notice some hiccups during the check-in process and wished I had a better campsite since I booked in advance.
My stay at Lake Argyle Discovery Resort Caravan Park had its highs and lows. The location is stunning, nestled near Lake Argyle. I enjoyed the new amenities and the infinity pool, which is quite a unique feature. However, the management needs to step up in terms of facility maintenance and guest oversight. The dusty conditions and steep sites were not ideal for a comfortable stay.
I recently had a very disappointing experience at Lake Argyle Resort. While there are some beautiful views of the lake, the overall condition of the rooms and dining facilities left much to be desired. The dining hours were restrictive, and the lack of basic amenities made our stay quite frustrating. On a more positive note, there was a nice infinity pool, even though we found it too cold to enjoy fully. I cannot recommend this place for an extended stay.
The resort is set in a breathtaking location with stunning views, which are definitely a highlight. However, I found the Kimberley family cabin to be overpriced for what it offered—more like a motel room than a self-catering cabin. I felt that the resort is catering to those who prefer eating out at the restaurant, as the kitchen setup was quite basic. If you're okay with dining out, this place is great, but if you're looking for full self-catering, it might not suit your needs.
The place has beautiful views and well-maintained grounds overlooking the lake, making it a lovely spot in the Kimberley. However, the dining options were limited and the service could have been better. The pool area, while having great potential with a nice outlook, is small and seemed neglected, which was a real letdown. Overall, it’s a decent choice for a short stay if you're looking to immerse yourself in nature.
